B2B and wholesale

Wholesale that works beside your retail store.

Trade prices, terms and minimums for stockists, on the same Shopify store as your retail customers. Shopify's native B2B covers the basics; we build the rules, limits and tools your trade buyers actually need.

Where off-the-shelf stops

Trade buyers don't shop like retail customers.

They reorder, they have terms, and they know what they paid last time.

  • Price lists that don't fit.

Stockist tiers, regional trade prices and negotiated rates outgrow a handful of catalogues.

  • Terms and approvals by hand.

Net-30, credit limits and order approvals live in email threads and a spreadsheet.

  • Reordering is painful.

Buyers re-key last season's order line by line instead of repeating it in one click.

What we build

Wholesale, without a second store.

Trade and retail share one store, with the right prices and checkout for each.

  • Price lists beyond the limits

Per-company prices, many tiers and ERP-driven price lists, where native catalogues run out.

    All plans
  • Approvals and credit

Order approvals, buyer roles and credit limits checked before an order is accepted, tied to your accounting.

    All plans
  • Quick order and reorder

Paste a list of SKUs, upload a CSV or repeat a past order in one step.

    All plans
  • Trade portal and quotes

A page for stockists to see prices, orders and invoices, and to ask for a quote.

    All plans

Trade

Every stockist, their own prices and terms.

Example

Twelve units of a face oil, at the trade price, on net-30.

A stockist repeats last month's order. Trade prices and terms apply automatically, and your team sees an order ready to fulfil.

  • Trade price by company, from one list.

  • Net-30 applied at checkout.

  • Reorder from history in one click.

Plus and other plans

B2B on every plan, with more room on Plus.

Shopify's native B2B works on most paid plans. Plus lifts its limits, and an app can close much of the gap elsewhere.

For Basic, Grow and Advanced stores

Every other plan

  • Native B2B, within its limits companies, catalogues and net terms, with up to three catalogues.

  • An app for what lies beyond per-company pricing, approvals and reorder tools built around your stockists.

  • A planned upgrade path so the Plus-only parts switch on when you move up.

Questions

Before we speak.

Doesn't Shopify already have B2B?

Yes. Native B2B covers companies, catalogues and net payment terms on Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus. We build what it doesn't: more tiers than the catalogue limits allow, approvals, ERP-driven prices, quotes and reorder tools.

Can we keep retail and wholesale on one store?

Usually, yes. Trade buyers log in to see their own prices, catalogue and terms, and retail visitors see the normal store.

What about stockists who pay by invoice?

We support net terms, credit limits and invoicing flows, and send the order on to your accounting system.

Is it worth it if we're not on Plus?

Often. Other plans are capped at three catalogues and can't assign them directly to companies, which is where a custom app helps most. Plus lifts those limits when you are ready for them.

How it works

From first call to live store.

A commission follows the same five stages every time. You see a working preview every week from the build stage onward, and the price is fixed once the specification is agreed.

  1. 01

    Discover

    Week 1

A working session with the people who will use the app. We map the process it replaces, the data it touches and the plan your store is on.

  2. 02

    Specify

    1 to 2 weeks

A written specification and a clickable prototype inside a development store. You approve the scope and receive a fixed quote.

  3. 03

    Build

    3 to 8 weeks

We build in weekly increments. Every change is reviewed by a second developer and tested before it reaches your preview. Each Friday you get a preview link and a short note on what changed.

  4. 04

    Launch

    1 week

Installed on your live store, tested against real orders, and walked through with your team until it feels like it was always there.

  5. 05

    Care

    Ongoing

Shopify releases a new API version every quarter. We move your app onto each one before the old version is retired, and keep it monitored.

Begin a conversation

Describe the app your store needs.

Plain language is fine. Tell us what should happen, who uses it and what it replaces. We reply with questions, an honest view on whether a custom app is the right answer, or a time for the discovery session.
